Free online anxiety education & support group
Connections will host a free six-session, one-hour online education and support group for adults experiencing the symptoms of anxiety Wednesdays, noon to 1 p.m., March 3 to April 7.
The group is designed for people experiencing excessive worry, panic, fear, sleep issues, agitation, irritability, or difficulty concentrating or making decisions, especially as a result of COVID-19.
Led by two therapists, the group will be held online using telehealth, so participants must have access to the internet and a webcam. It will be completely confidential, with participation limited to the same members for all six sessions. Space is limited.
Not sure if this is right for you? There will be two informational sessions at noon on Feb. 17 & 24: healthdistrict.zoom.us/j/3098757399
